In February and March of this year, I was privileged to spend 6 weeks at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice, Italy. Just being in Venice was a beautiful experience. Every other day I went to another cathedral, palazzo, or museum to view unforgettable artworks of every age from Byzantine to modern to contemporary, from incredible altar pieces to Fluxus books and everything in between. At the Scuola I met artists from all over the world, attended a number of varied workshops, and worked with the incredible staff of the Scuola learning to use their printmaking facilities under expert guidance. The experience will be always with me. Here is a sample of the works completed.
