Unfamiliar Territory, 30 x 30 x 3, Acquired by Lancaster Museum of Art and History
$0.00
Unfamiliar Territory is made of acrylic paint squeezed out of pastry tubes and squeeze bottles. No brushes were used in its creation because I am looking for the physical presence of the paint to create a three-dimensional painting/sculpture hybrid that exists in the space with the viewer. I apply the paint to a flexible matrix, and when dry, I attach faux fur to add an aura of other worldliness. Acrylic keyhole hangars make it simple to hang.
