These digital works start out as landscape paintings using dots of acrylic paint from squeeze bottles. I take a photograph of the painting, bring it into photoshop on my computer and then alter it by choosing a particular area of the painting and copying it into a mirror image of itself. I send the image to my printer and print the image onto silk treated with a digital ground so the ink will adhere to the fabric. Finally I take the printed silk to Koreatown in LA to have it framed as a traditional Korean style wall hanging. The result is a metaphysical landscape of the imagination.
